The Government of India is focusing on the growth of small-medium enterprises and in order to avail many of their perks an MSME registration or Udyam is required. This process is completely online and paperless. It is based on self-declaration and requires basic details of your enterprise. It also requires a PAN and GST number to verify your information.
Once all of these steps are complete, you will receive a Udyam registration number that is valid for life. Once all the information has been thoroughly verified you will get an E-registration document sent to your registered email id.
If you have an existing enterprise that was previously registered under EM-Part II or UAM, you will need to submit your Aadhaar and PAN again on the new Udyam portal.
